About Tom Kirk Lighting
Originally graduating from London's Camberwell School of Art in Silversmithing and Metalwork, Tom rapidly developed an interest in lighting design, welcoming the added dimension light gives to his work by transforming an otherwise static format.
Following initial success, Tom was awarded a Crafts Council setting-up grant in 1997, and later that year, exhibited at 100% Design in London for the first time. Since then, Tom's products have appeared at Sothebys' Decorative Arts, V&A's Collect, New York's ICFF and Maison et Objet, Paris.
Today, the collection is designed and produced in Dulwich, South London. Reflecting over 20 years of experience exploring materials and processes, Tom's work continues to attract an increasingly global following.
